Essay 1-01b: Dear My Host Family

Hello!

My name is Manami N. I’m nineteen years old. I have four people in my family. I have parents, my younger brother, and me. We live in Kumamoto. Kumamoto’s people can eat “Basashi.” Basashi is horse’s meat! It is delicious. My hobby is watching movies and reading. My favorite movie is “High school musical.” Do you know it? This movie is very interesting.


My favorite books are “Harry Potter”, “Princess diaries” and “Twilight.” Those books are interesting too, so I want to go to America when I was junior high school student. I’m looking forward to go to America, but I’m shy, so I’m worry a little bit, but I' usually talkative. I like talking with my friend.


I can speak English a little bit, so I study English hard. I don’t like a lot of food, fish, mushroom and so on. My favorite food is pizza. My favorite drink is cocacola. I like both very much. My favorite actor and actress are Zac efron, Vanessa hadgens, Miley Cyrus. I have DVDs “High school musical” and “Hannnah Montana”, so I’m really looking forward to go to America. Do you know them?


They are nice singer. My friend bought Miley’s CD “break out.” This song is cool. I like them, but now I like “Twilight.” Do you know it? This book is awesome. This book is very interesting!! I read every day. I want to go to watching movie “Twilight,” but I have no time to go to watching movie. I want to go to theater soon.
